In order to understand the molecular mechanism of poplar under salt stress, a time series experiment including five treatments and a control group was implemented. Two-month-old Populus alba 'Berolinensis' L. plantlets were treated by 2% NaCl for 3, 6, 9, 12 and 24 hours, respectively. Plants grown in soil were used as controls. For each time point, three biological replicates were generated and each replicate was mixed from five individuals.
