Is active in GABA-ergic synapse; glutamatergic synapse; and postsynaptic density membrane. Used to study Parkinsonism; amnestic disorder; essential tremor; and hypertension. Biomarker of heroin dependence and visual epilepsy. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Parkinson's disease; essential tremor; essential tremor 1; and schizophrenia.
