Is active in glutamatergic synapse; postsynaptic cytosol; and postsynaptic density. Used to study rheumatoid arthritis. Biomarker of hepatocellular carcinoma; pancreatic carcinoma; and transient cerebral ischemia. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in inclusion body myopathy with Paget disease of bone and frontotemporal dementia and inclusion body myopathy with early-onset Paget disease of bone with or without frontotemporal dementia 2.
