This study aimed to determine whether multiplex qPCR targeting Dirofilaria immitis and Wolbachia DNA can be a substitute for the quantitative Modified Knott's test. To do so, this study re-used gDNA samples obtained from the blood of shelter dogs in Queensland, Australia in Panetta et al. (2021).
