The wild mice, captured using peanuts or sunflower seeds as bait, comprise Lasiopodomys brandtii(BV, n =26), Apodemus agrarius (HJ, n =20), and Microtus fortis (DF, n= 20) . Subsequently, all subjects were cryogenically transported to the laboratory, euthanized via carbon dioxide inhalation, followed by cervical dislocation. The cecum was harvested immediately after euthanasia, and the contents were collected for ITS1 amplicon sequencing.
