Abstract: Osmotic stress is one of the major stress factors limiting the application of rhizobia in agriculture. Sinorhizobium fredii CCBAU 45436 is a drought- and salinity-tolerant, broad-host, fast-growing rhizobacterium with high nitrogen-fixing efficiency, which provides a large amount of nitrogen to the host crop through nitrogen fixation by tumor formation.
