YPT Link: Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (YPT), a Gram-negative bacterium, is suspected to be linked to KD, especially in Japan. Symptoms and Risks: Characterized by prolonged fever, rash, and risk of coronary artery aneurysms. Global Incidence: Highest incidence in East Asia, but reported worldwide. YPT and Its Association with KD Traditional Association: YPT is traditionally linked to gastroenteritis.
