Fecal samples were collected from healthy horses and horses with adverse health conditions affecting any body system, immediately upon admission and, in some horses, longitudinally throughout their hospitalization. Metadata include patient demographics and information related to health status, diagnosis, treatment, and outcome associated with each horse.
