The genome of Lachancea dasiensis, strain CBS 10888, has been sequenced using Roche 454 technology (single and paired-end reads 8kb) and Illumina Solexa technology (single reads). The assembly was made with Celera Assembler (v6.1) and Newbler (v2.7). The final draft relies on 8 chromosomes, for a total size of 10,701,617 bp and a G+C content of 45%. Annotation of protein-coding genes (5162) was performed using the Amadea Annotation transfer tool (Isoft, France) and manually curated.
