Colletotrichum siamense,Colletotrichum camellia,Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Colletotrichum karstii are the major causal pathogens causing anthracnose on Camellia oleifera. The disease incidence was 20 to 30% in plantations with over 50 acres of tea-oil trees. Whole genome sequencing of four Colletotrichum species as a first step toward understanding the genomic processes underlying plant host adaptation in these pathogens.
