The sequencing data of the sham-operated control and Klebsiella Pneumoniae (Kp) -induced SAP groups have been deposited in the NCBI SRA database under the accession number PRJNA1136706. To further confirm the role of the gut microbiota in the SAP-alleviating effects of TFXS-M, we performed fecal microbial transplantation (FMT) from the sham-operated control, Kp-induced SAP and TFXS-M treatment groups into the Kp-induced SAP recipient rats by oral gavage, respectively (SFMT, KFMT and TFMT). At 7 days after FMT, fecal samples were collected and 16S rRNA sequencing was performed to investigate the gut microbiota profiles of the three receipt groups.
