Description

The Thielavia terrestris strain LPH 172 was newly isolated from rotting pineapple waste in Vietnam and showed growth and enzyme activity at very low pH values (<3). We sequenced and analysed its genome to be able to investigate the basis for its acidophilicity and to discover new thermophilic and acidophilic CAZymes.
