isolation and growth conditionLeaves from passionfruit were surface sterilized and aseptically grounded in phosphate buffer. The resulting suspension was serially diluted and a 100 microliters aliquot was plated in Gause synthetic agar. Plates were incubated at 28 for up to 30 days. A yellow, circular and rugous colony was purified and preserved by ultra-freezing. The strain was grown on Trypticase Soy Agar at 28 for 48 hours for the genomic extraction.
