Description

A 1 L seawater sample was collected using a Remote Access Sampler (autonomous sampling device attached to mooring), stored in sterile plastic bags onboard the sampler and fixed in mercuric chloride for preservation of material. The seawater sample was later collected and filtered through a 0.2 µm polycarbonate membrane filter. This sample represents the material captured on the 0.2 µm filter. The sampling location is the F4-S-1 FRAM observatory station.
