I was looking up the enzyme "catalase" on Entrez Gene and found the associated SNP page. It states that there are 240 entries for Homo Sapiens. Are there 240 SNP variations that have currently been identified?
There are 240 unique reference SNPs in dbSNP for the human CAT gene. There may be more identified in the literature that have yet to be submitted to dbSNP. (5/22/06)
Using Entrez SNP Search to look for a SNP, I got a graphical response page with the refSNP(rs) number. Where is the legend for this graphics?
