Widespread cytoplasmic polyadenylation programs asymmetry in the germline and early embryo

(Submitter supplied) The PAT-seq approach was utilised to determine the gene expression, poly(A)-site and polyadenylation state of the transcriptome of C. elegans of wildtype (N2), gld-2(q497) and cpb-3(bt17) strains. A series of deadenylases were aditionally depleted by RNAi in the gld-2 background to determine the identity of the initiating deadenylase. RNAi was performed by bacterial feeding, using the E.
