Dystrophin deficiency effect on cardiac muscles: time course

Analysis of cardiac muscles from 8-week and 10.5-month-old mdx animals that lack dystrophin. The mdx animal is a model for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Results provide insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of muscular dystrophy.
