Analysis of meibomian glands from orchiectomized BALB/c adults treated with testosterone for 14 days. Androgen deficiency associated with glandular dysfunction and evaporative dry eye. Lacrimal and submandibular glands included. Results suggest pathways regulated by androgens in meibomian glands.
