Clonality analysis in breast tumour pairs using aCGH data

(Submitter supplied) Multiple tumours from the same patient were analysed for copy number alterations to assess tumour clonality. Seventy-four tumours corresponding to 37 patients were stratified into four groups based on the anatomic location of the multiple breast cancers (ipsilateral or bilateral) and time interval between the diagnoses (synchronous or metachronous). SWEGENE_BAC_38K

(Submitter supplied) Arrays were produced by SCIBLU - Swegene Centre for Integrative Biology at Lund University - at Lund University by using amplified genomic DNA targets from BAC clones. Target amplification was performed using degenerate oligonucleotide primed PCR and products were purified by size-exclusion filtration and verified by agarose gel electrophoresis. After purification, products were dried down, recovered in 50% DMSO to a concentration of 500-1000ng/µl, and printed on amino-silane-coated glass slides (UltraGAPS from Corning) using a MicroGrid2 robot (BioRobotics) equipped with MicroSpot2500 pins (BioRobotics).
