Functional environmental genomics of a municipal landfill soil

(Submitter supplied) We investigated the toxicity of soil samples derived from a former municipal landfill site in the South of the Netherlands, where a bioremediation project is running aiming at reusing the site for recreation. Both an organic soil extract and the original soil sample was investigated using the ISO standardised Folsomia soil ecotoxicological testing and gene expression analysis. ISQ Chip Folsomia candida Collembola VU 15.7K version 2.0

(Submitter supplied) 8*15K format. In total 5,069 different experimental probes representing 5,069 EST contigs are in triplicate on the microarray. All probes were also on the previous version (1.0) of the Folsomia candida chip (GPL6381). Protocol: 60-mer oligo probes were designed from Collembase EST contigs, using OligoArray v2.0 and synthesized in situ by an ink-jet printing (Agilent) method on glass slides.
