Niacin-bound chromium effect on the subcutaneous fat tissue of a model for type 2 diabetes with obesity

Analysis of subcutaneous fat tissues of type 2 Lepr(db/db) animals supplemented with niacin-bound chromium (NBC) for 10 weeks. The Lepr(db/db) animal is a model for type 2 diabetes with obesity. Results provide insight into the basis of the beneficial effect of NBC on diabetes and obesity.
