Exploration of lncRNA/circRNA-miRNA-mRNA networks in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis in plateau areas [lncRNA]

(Submitter supplied) Higher incidence of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is generally considered a precancerous lesion of gastric cancer (GC). Therefore, the early diagnosis and treatment of CAG, especially in Tibetan Plateau areas, play an important role in the prevention of GC. The atrophic and non-atrophic gastric mucosal tissue samples from 7 patients with chronic gastritis (CG) and cancer tissue samples from 3 patients with GC were collected. more...

circRNA, lncRNA and mRNA profiles of umbilical cord blood exosomes from preterm newborns showing bronchopulmonary

(Submitter supplied) Purpose: The purpose of this study was to detect the expression profiles of circRNAs, lncRNAs and mRNAs in umbilical cord blood (UCB) exosomes from BPD infants. Methods:Microarray analysis was performed to compare the RNA profiles of UCB-derived exosomes from preterm newborn with and without BPD. Then, circRNA/lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA co-expression networks were built to determine their associations with BPD.Results:A total of 317 circRNAs, 104 lncRNAs, 135 mRNAs showed significant differential expression in UCB-derived exosomes from BPD preterm infants compared with the NBPD group. more...

Genome-wide analysis of differentially expressed profiles of miRNAs, mRNAs, lncRNAs and circRNAs in F. nucleatum infection

(Submitter supplied) F. nucleatum is an opportunistic pathogen that usually colonize in oral cavity, thereby closely associated with the development of periodontitis. However, the immune regulation mechanism of F. nucleatum to macrophage’s function in disease progress has not been clearly elucidated.Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) and circular RNA (circRNA) were discovered to play an important role in regulating occurrence and progression of many diseases and identified as effective biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis of several diseases. more...

Comprehensive identification of RNA transcripts and construction of RNA networks in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

(Submitter supplied) Here, we report a comprehensive analysis of dysregulated mRNAs, lncRNAs, miRNAs and circRNAs in peripheral blood of COPD patients with high-throughput RNA sequencing. We mapped about 50~80 million sequence reads per sample to the human genome. GSEA analysis showed that these dysregulated RNAs correlate with several critical biological processes such as RNA modification, and RNA metabolism. RT-qPCR (SYBR Green assays) with more clinical COPD samples were used for the validation of some dysregulated RNAs. more...

circRNA expression pattern in the pathogenesis of aseptic lossening

(Submitter supplied) Increasing evidence has demonstrated that circular RNA exerts important function in the pathogenesis of some diseases. While, the contributions of circRNAs to aseptic lossening after total hip arthroplasty remain largely unknown. Our research is to explore the differently expressed circRNAs and elucidate complex regulated mechanism of circRNAs in aseptic lossening. The differently expressed circRNAs were identified by RNA sequencing analysis. more...
