Summary
This region represents an enhancer element, eB, that drives expression of a reporter transgene in the developing heart. This enhancer can synergize with another enhancer, eA, to regulate expression of the T-box 3 (Tbx3) gene, which is located approximately 95 kb downstream. Activity of this sequence is stimulated by GATA binding protein 4 (Gata4) and signaling through bone morphogenetic protein (BMP). [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2019]
