Is expressed in genitourinary system; nervous system; spleen; and submandibular gland. Used to study Gilles de la Tourette syndrome; attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; and schizophrenia. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; classic dopamine transporter deficiency syndrome; mild cognitive impairment; nicotine dependence; and obesity.
