Summary
Enables DNA binding activity and DNA-binding transcription activator activity, RNA polymerase II-specific. Involved in glucose mediated signaling pathway; lipid homeostasis; and positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter by glucose. Acts upstream of or within lactation; positive regulation of DNA-templated transcription; and regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; dorsal root ganglion; early conceptus; genitourinary system; and sensory organ. Orthologous to human USF2 (upstream transcription factor 2, c-fos interacting). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Nov 2024]
Expression
Ubiquitous expression in adrenal adult (RPKM 66.5), ovary adult (RPKM 53.4) and 28 other tissues See more

RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
