Ada3 - transcriptional Adaptor 3

Enables chromatin binding activity. Involved in transcription initiation-coupled chromatin remodeling. Located in nucleus and polytene chromosome puff. Part of ATAC complex; H3 histone acetyltransferase complex; and SAGA complex. Colocalizes with euchromatin. Is expressed in several structures, including central brain primordium; embryonic central brain neurons; embryonic/larval midgut primordium; ganglia; and germline cell.
