Strip - Striatin interacting protein
Enables protein kinase binding activity. Involved in several processes, including axon extension; negative regulation of signal transduction; and negative regulation of synaptic assembly at neuromuscular junction. Located in cytoplasm and presynapse. Part of FAR/SIN/STRIPAK complex. Is expressed in embryonic/larval neuromuscular junction. Orthologous to human STRIP1 (striatin interacting protein 1) and STRIP2 (striatin interacting protein 2). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Dec 2024]
