TP53INP - Tumor protein p53 inducible nuclear protein

Enables nuclear receptor binding activity and nuclear receptor coactivator activity. Involved in several processes, including ecdysone receptor signaling pathway; positive regulation of ecdysone receptor signaling pathway; and positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Predicted to be active in autophagosome and nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including CNS glial cell; head epidermis primordium; sensory nervous system primordium; ventral nerve cord; and visceral mesoderm derivative. Orthologous to human TP53INP1 (tumor protein p53 inducible nuclear protein 1) and TP53INP2 (tumor protein p53 inducible nuclear protein 2). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Nov 2024]
