Gbs-70E - Glycogen binding subunit 70E
Enables glycogen binding activity and protein phosphatase 1 binding activity. Involved in behavioral response to ethanol and regulation of glycogen metabolic process. Part of protein phosphatase type 1 complex. Is expressed in several structures, including anlage in statu nascendi; embryonic/larval midgut primordium; endoderm anlage; gut section; and head epidermis primordium. Used to study alcohol use disorder. Orthologous to human PPP1R3B (protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 3B) and PPP1R3C (protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 3C).
