Is expressed in several structures, including adult pars intercerebralis; embryonic/larval epidermis; embryonic/larval salivary gland; gut section; and peritracheal cell. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in lung non-small cell carcinoma. Orthologous to several human genes including KDM2B (lysine demethylase 2B).
