Enables DNA-binding transcription factor binding activity and transcription coregulator activity. Contributes to transcription coactivator activity. Involved in positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II and sex comb development. Located in nucleus and pericentric heterochromatin. Part of mediator complex. Is expressed in several structures, including antennal primordium; anterior endoderm; embryonic/larval midgut primordium; ganglia; and head epidermis primordium.
