Summary
a member of Glycosyltransferase- Family 2 and encodes a beta-mannan synthase based on in vitro enzyme assays from heterologously expressed protein. Mutants exhibit defects in pollen tube growth and embryo development. The defective embryonic development was associated with reduced proliferation and failed cellularization of the endosperm.
