Summary
Encodes a member of the Sad1/UNC-84 (SUN)-domain proteins: AtSUN1(At5g04990), AtSUN2(AT3G10730). SUN domain proteins are part of the cytoskeletal-nucleoskeletal bridging complexes. AtSUN1 and AtSUN2 are localized to the nuclear envelope and are present as homomers and heteromers in vivo.
