Summary
BasR is the cognate response regulator of the BasSR two-component system. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG11614]. BasS (bacterial adaptative response, sensor-kinase) belongs to the two component system BasS/BasR, is a sensor-histidine kinase and is known to be a transmembrane protein composed of three domains: external sensory domain (amino-terminal), cytoplasmic transmitter domain (carboxyl-terminal), and transmembrane hydrophobic central domain. [More information is available at EcoCyc: EG11614].
