Summary
After four hours of Zn(II) stress, ArgT protein levels decreased (Easton, 2006). [More information is available at EcoGene: EG10072]. hisP and hisMQ encode the ATP-binding component and two integral membrane components, respectively, of both the lysine/arginine/ornithine ABC transporter and the histidine ABC transporter of Escherichia coli. argT is a homolog of argT of Salmonella typhimurium which encodes a lysing/arginine/ornithine periplasmic binding protein .
