Part of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase complex, class IA. Is expressed in adult head; organism; and ventral furrow. Used to study alcohol use disorder; cancer (multiple); glucose metabolism disease (multiple); and heart disease. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in colorectal cancer; glioblastoma; immunodeficiency 14; reproductive organ cancer (multiple); and schizophrenia.
