    Summary
Enables semaphorin receptor activity. Involved in T cell activation via T cell receptor contact with antigen bound to MHC molecule on antigen presenting cell; nervous system development; and semaphorin-plexin signaling pathway. Acts upstream of or within dichotomous subdivision of terminal units involved in salivary gland branching; neuron projection morphogenesis; and regulation of smooth muscle cell migration. Located in membrane. Part of semaphorin receptor complex. Is active in glutamatergic synapse. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; cranial nerve; genitourinary system; and sensory organ. Orthologous to human PLXNA1 (plexin A1). RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
