    The ybjX homolog somA is an msbB (lpxM) suppressor mutation in Salmonella. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG13693]. Mutation of SomA, the YbjX homolog in Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium, causes partial suppression of the growth defects of an msbB mutant (defective in lipid A biosynthesis) .
