    Summary
    The Cascade antiviral complex is comprised of CasABCDE and short CRISP RNAs (crRNAs) and requires the predicted helicase YgcB(Cas3) for activity (Brouns , 2008). [More information is available at EcoGene: EG13115]. CasE is the only Cascade subunit that is necessary and sufficient for cleavage of pre-CRISPR RNA (crRNA).
