    Summary
The frmRAB operon is negatively regulated by frmR, is induced by formaldehyde, and probably degrades formaldehyde. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG13296]. FrmR appears to be a negative regulator of the frmRAB operon; its function can be inactivated by suppression of its amber stop codon . frmR expression is induced by formaldehyde, but not by S-nitrosoglutathione . [More information is available at EcoCyc: G6209].
