    1. polyubiquitination of Pex18p requires Ubc4p, which cooperates with Pex2p and Pex10p. Monoubiquitination of Pex18p depends on Pex4p (Ubc10p) in concert with Pex12p and Pex10p.

    2. The finding indicates that Pex18p export is linked to cargo translocation, which supports the idea of an export-driven import of proteins into peroxisomes.
