    dnaK and tig mutants are synthetic lethal at 30 degrees C, however, no lethal effects are observed at 23 degrees C. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG11003]. In Escherichia coli Trigger Factor (TF), the tig gene product, is one of three major (along with DnaK and GroEL) chaperones which cooperate in the folding of newly synthesized cytosolic proteins. .
