Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including anal region; body wall; head; intestine; and odorsensory neurons. Used to study autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in dilated cardiomyopathy and neurodevelopmental disorder with hypotonia, stereotypic hand movements, and impaired language.
