Summary: Contains a J-domain at the C-terminus which is similar to the J-domain of auxilin, a clathrin-uncoating factor in cow, yeast and worm. Arabidopsis contains 6 other proteins similar to auxilin. Expressed in leaves and stems, but not in roots. Localized in the cytoplasm. Required for the chloroplast accumulation response, but not for the avoidance response. No molecular function known.
