    Summary
This locus represents naturally-occurring readthrough transcription between two unprocessed unitary pseudogenes, CCZ1P (CCZ1 homolog, vacuolar protein trafficking and biogenesis associated pseudogene) and OR7E38P (olfactory receptor family 7 subfamily E member 38 pseudogene). The individual pseudogene loci are not curated as transcribed regions. Readthrough transcripts contains disrupted open reading frames, relative to functional homologs, and likely do not encode functional proteins. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2017]

RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
