Microarray analysis of goblet cells isolated from the small intestine or colon was completed to compare the cells between the two parts of the intestine.

Overall design |
Total epithelium was isolated from the intestine by incubation in HBSS+0.05% EDTA at 37 C for 15 minutes. Goblet cells were isolated by FACS sorting CD45-CD24-CK18+UEA-I+ cells.
