Treatment protocol |
For recovery, 200ug/ml Neomycin in M9 was used to rinse worms and Streptomycin was included in plates at 50ug/ml.

Growth protocol |
Synchronized L1 fer-1(b232ts) animals were grown on E. coli OP50 for 72 hours. Synchronized L1 fer-1(b232ts) animals were grown on E. coli OP50 for 72 hours and then exposed to P. aeruginosa PA14 for 4 hours. Synchronized L1 fer-1(b232ts) animals were grown on E. coli OP50 for 72 hours, exposed to P. aeruginosa PA14 for 4 hours, and then treated with Neomycin and shifted to E. coli OP50 plus Streptomycin plates for 6, 12, or 24 hours to resolve the infection. Synchronized L1 fer-1(b232ts) animals were grown on E. coli OP50 for 82 hours. Synchronized L1 fer-1(b232ts) animals were grown on E. coli OP50 for 76 hours and then treated with Neomycin and shifted to E. coli OP50 plus Streptomycin plates for 6 hours. Animals were kept at 25dC.
