Wild type (Hu2185) and abo1∆ strain (Hu2318) were cultured to mid-log exponential phase and continuously induced at 25°C, 30°C and 37°C for 4 hours.

Growth protocol |
Standard YES medium was used for cell culture. Standard fission yeast genetic techniques and media were used according to Moreno et al (1991). Yeast cells were grown to mid-logarithmic phase.

Cells were then harvested by centrifugation at 3000 rpm and lysed by incubation with TES buffer (10mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 10mM EDTA and 0.5% SDS). RNA was extracted by using hot acid-phenol method

Data processing |
The signal raw data files were normalized through Affymetrix Tiling analysis Software (TAS) The replicate result was first normalized and merged into one file. The normalized microarray data were mapped to S. pombe genome (Sanger 2007). Results files are provided as .bar and .bar.txt files.
