Sample GSM4431499 Query DataSets for GSM4431499
Status Public on Jun 04, 2020
Title RNAseq_St15_controlRNAi_female_embryos_04
Sample type SRA

Source name st15 embryos
Organism Drosophila melanogaster
Characteristics genotype: progeny of mat-a-tubGal4/controlRNAi mothers crossed to their siblings (Bloomington stocks: 7062 & 36304) expressed in Sxl-GFP genetic background; Sorted to be GFP positive
tissue: st15 embryos
Sex: female
Growth protocol D. melanogaster flies were maintained in standard Drosophila medium at 25oC.
Extracted molecule polyA RNA
Extraction protocol st15 embryos: 14-16h embryos were inspected under the stereoscope and were selected for the desired stages and for Sxl-GFP presence or absence to distinguish their gender. 25 embryos were homogenized in Trizol and total mRNA was isolated using the microRNA Zymo Kit. RNA Quality was assessed by Fragment Analyzer.
TruSeq Stranded mRNA.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 3000
