Extraction protocol |
Tumors were removed within 2 hours of death in a rapid autopsy. A single pathologist sectioned 15 tissue slices at 15-um from areas with extensive tumor involvement. DNA was extracted with a Wizard Genomic DNA Isolation kit (Promega) and purified by phenol/chloroform extraction. All DNAs were of sufficient quality and quantity for genomic analysis by gel chromatography and UV-Vis spectrophotometery.
